Platinum Britannia 1/10 oz 2024 - the popular bullion coin from the Royal Mint UK
Buy one of the most traditional investment coins worldwide in particularly small denominations and in 99.95% pure platinum. The portrait of Britannia 2024 was designed by Philip Nathan. It shows the mother of the country standing on a cliff with fluttering robes. In her left hand she holds a shield with the national flag of Great Britain and an olive branch, in her right a trident, the scepter of the sea god Neptune. It is surrounded by a frame in which the fine weight (1/10 ounce), the fineness (9995 platinum), the name of the coin "Britannia" and the year of issue are stated.
Particularly interesting: Since 2018, the platinum Britannia has been embossed with a guilloché background as an additional security feature. The face value of £ 10 is indicated on the obverse of the platinum coin under the portrait of King Charles III. "Britannia" is shown on the back. It is surrounded by a frame in which the fine weight (in ounces), the name of the coin "Britannia" and the year of issue are stated.
