Motif and characteristics of the Australian silver coin
The Emu has been issued with annually changing motifs since 2018. The great Australian flightless bird can be seen in different situations and by different designers. The mintage of each year is strictly limited. Only 30,000 pieces are issued annually by the Perth Mint. Each of the Emu silver coins offered here as a set weighs 1 ounce and has a fineness of (.9999 silver).
The value side shows the current portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, which was designed by Jody Clark (his abbreviation can be seen on the left shoulder, from 2024 King Charles III). The issuing country and the official face value of 1 Australian dollar are stamped on the inscription.
