Lunar Dragon 1/20 oz Gold 2024 - fifth lunar gold bullion coin
This magnificent lunar gold bullion coin
celebrates the Year of the Dragon, the fifth of twelve
animals associated with the ancient Chinese lunar
calendar.
Struck by The Perth Mint from 1/10 oz of 999.9% pure gold in bullion quality, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
DESIGN
Portrays a leaping dragon among grasses with feathery plumes. Also included in the design is the Chinese character for "dragon," the inscription "Dragon 2024" and The Perth Mint's "P" mint mark.
The obverse of the coin depicts the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth II, the weight and fineness, and the monetary
denomination.

Each bullion coin is presented in a protective acrylic capsule.
The coin’s reverse includes a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the design. It is only detectable under a magnifying glass.
