One of the few ways to physically invest in copper. This investment coin takes up the famous Aztec calendar on the motif side. With its three concentric rings made of calendar motifs and symbols, it is certainly one of the most famous pre-Columbian sculptures.
The back is no less steeped in history. Pictured here is Cuauhtémoc, the last Aztec ruler. It is bordered by the fine weight (2 ounces) and the fineness (999 copper).
An important note for experienced precious metal investors: The copper coin weighs one Avoirdupois ounce, ie approx. 28.349 gram times two, making the 2 oz Aztec calendar lighter than common bullion coins that are weighted in troy ouncec (approx. 31.103 grams).
